Lisa Walton is a phlebotomist/research assistant at the SUNY Upstate Institute for Global Health. A Syracuse native, Lisa attended Henninger High School and joined the United States Army Medical Corps for which she served three years in active duty and two years in the inactive reserves.
Lisa has over thirty years of phlebotomy experience specializing in pediatrics. Currently, she works with Dr. Anderson and the Global Health team on multiple COVID-19 trials both in-clinic and in the greater Syracuse area. Lisa enjoys spending time with her grandson, cooking, appreciating nature, playing with her dog and partaking in community activities.
