Welcome!

The Center for Education and Training acts as the hub for all educational activities through the Global Health Institute. We facilitate bilateral opportunities for trainees, including students, faculty, residents, and international collaborators. The Center also provides a channel for exchanges between Upstate Medical University and international platforms and universities by helping establish official MOUs and agreements. We strive to secure grants and philanthropic funds to support global health education initiatives on campus. Additionally, the Center identifies, develops, and assesses learning opportunities within the Institute’s platforms and beyond. Students involved with the Institute receive training materials for global health education and faculty mentorship. In addition to bilateral training, the Center also organizes annual conferences on global health issues, offers clinical research training, and sponsors global health related seminars and journal clubs.
