Clinical Research Coordinator I

BreAnn Burnette is a Clinical Research Coordinator I for the Upstate Global Health Institute. In her role, BreAnn manages the participant schedule and research supplies. She has also assisted with COVID-19 antibody and vaccine research.

BreAnn graduated from Cayuga Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration. From there, she began working as a phlebotomist and worked her way to becoming a Certified Medical Assistant in Oncology. As an Oncology Medical Assistant she managed clinic workflow and helped create new procedures in addition to interacting with patients and clinic staff.

BreAnn has many years of experience in customer service and private practice medical settings, which has been a great foundation for her role at the Institute. Outside of work, BreAnn enjoys spending time with her family and dogs.
