Upstate Medical University pediatric residents and Maseno University medical students collaborate for monthly case conferences and present fun filled learning experiences. These virtual conferences provide a bidirectional educational platform to foster cross cultural medical training and support medical education mission for Maseno University undergraduate medical students with Upstate University pediatric specialists.

Some examples of these case conferences to date include are some examples of cases presented so far:

• Hematology/oncology: CVA in a patient with Sickle Cell Disease; Nephroblastoma
• Neurology: GBS
• Rheumatology: Dermatomyositis
• Gastroenterology: GI Bleeding
• Endocrinology: Ambiguous Genitalia
