The Center for Education and Training serves as the mechanism for all educational opportunities through the Institute for Global Health. The Center for Education and Training facilitates all bilateral opportunities for trainees (students, faculty, residents, international collaborators and trainees). The Center provides a mechanism for exchanges from Upstate Medical University to identified international platforms and universities by helping to establish official MOU's and agreements. We work to secure grant and other philanthropic funds to sustain global health educational activities on campus. The Center also works to identify, develop, and evaluate learning opportunities within the Institute platforms and beyond.
Students who are engaged with the Institute are provided with training material for global health education and faculty mentorship. In addition to bilateral training opportunities, the Center for Education and Training also facilitates annual conferences on diseases of global health importance, global health seminars, and journal clubs.
