The Upstate Global Health Institute is seeinghow well CAPVAXIVEworks to protect against pneumonia caused by a specific bacterium (S Pneumoniae). CAPVAXIVE was developed and approved for the prevention of pneumococcal disease (including pneumonia) in adults and this study is being conducted to demonstratethe effectiveness of this vaccine in a real-world setting.
