Applied Practice Experience â MPH Program Students
MPH students can participate in either the Ecuador or Kenya programs. Students participating in are supervised by Upstate faculty in-country. Student projects are fitted into ongoing research projects based on their knowledge, skills, and professional interests. Projects are linked to APE competencies and students complete the APE experience forms as they would if completing the experience domestically. Students are encouraged to continue research beyond their international placements and disseminate research findings at national conferences and through manuscript preparation.
