COVID Employee Surveillance Study

The Global Health Institute is conducting a COVID surveillance among healthcare workers from SUNY Upstate Medical University to improve the understanding of infection and disease risk. The purpose of this study is to define the incidence and clinical spectrum of COVID-19 in a group of healthcare workers over one respiratory virus season. We are trying to better understand who gets sick and who does not, and once someone is infected how long they could infect someone else. We also want to know how people’s immune systems respond to vaccination, if they choose to do so, and how this impacts the rest of COVID-19 during the fall and winter.
